This is too awesome not to share! This year, for Reading Month, each class of every grade at the elementary school K-6 was tasked with writing a story and not just any story. Mrs. Lund started the story and then each class added 1-3 sentences. Here is our final product. What amazing imaginations! I hope you enjoy our story "Mrs. Lund and Her Magical Hat" written by 2023-2024 DCE Students! https://youtu.be/ebJeER5ZofM

We have been celebrating Reading Month at DCE all month long. We started the month with Dr. Seuss Week, then Lazy Week, and this week is school spirit week!! We were lucky enough to have some of our great High Schoolers come down and read to our K-4 classes. We also have pictures scattered around the school of our High Schoolers and what their favorite book is. We love to see them continue to read!!! To finish off the month K-6 have collaborated and written a book. We can't wait to share that. We also have a March Madness book battle happening! It's been a tight race this year!! So much fun happening~ Keep on Reading!!!
